This facility was built in response to
consumers requesting to see modifications and assistive technology
devices in a residential setting. It took almost three years to plan
and build so that people with all types of disabilities could use it
as a resource. Our facility will always be changing to keep current
with new technologies.
In addition to the community,
students from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College use our
building, resources and staff as a "working lab" to learn
disability-related issues first hand from people with disabilities.
Having the accessible kitchen,
bedroom, multiple bathrooms and state-of-the-art conference room,
together with Options array of services, makes this a truly unique
facility.
